Huge XD School is back. Now with a renewed purpose to increase the participation of underrepresented identities in the design industry.

Our next cohort will begin Summer 2023. Check back in January 2023 to apply for an opportunity to join students from around the country for a paid, 10-week virtual training program in Experience Design and beyond.

End-to-end project experience.
You'll learn the design industry fundamentals and apply them at every stage of a project, from brief to initial concept, to finished product.

Virtual Access.
Class will be entirely virtual, so a computer and access to the internet is essential. If you need either, we’ll hook you up.

This is a full-time position. Show up for school like it’s your job.
Legal eligibality.
Because this is a paid program, all candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Answers to commonly asked questions

To prove you are legally eligible to work in the United States you will need to provide documentation that verifies your eligibility. Take a look at what documents are acceptable here.

All students will be paid $25 per hour to participate in the program.

We will be choosing six finalists to participate in the program. We will also identify three finalists to be on the waitlist.

No, unfortunately, we will limit the program to students who we can compensate. But we thank you for your interest!

No, as a student you will be considered a temporary employee and will not be benefits eligible.

Great question! This program may not qualify for academic credit, however, you will leave the program with great experience and project work to include in your design portfolio along with an artifact that certifies your completion of Huge XD School. We hope this will help students begin their career in design.
